Klamath Basin Ag Feeds Our Nation PSA (:60)
The "Everglades of the West" is turning into a desert. The last few years of drought are not the only culprit.
30 years of mismanaging water for the Klamath Project and Klamath Basin family farmers and ranchers by the Federal government, random acts of restoration, and the belief that water, more water and all the water is the solution for recovering fish species in the Klamath River and Upper Klamath Lake.
The result is what we're seeing today - wetlands drying up and blowing away, family farms struggling to grow food year to year, and Klamath Basin communities bearing the economic brunt of Federal legislation and mismanagement.
